broker readyThe direction
Familiar protocol. New implementation.
ChronitonMQ starts at the wire: compatibility with Kafka clients and the surrounding ecosystem. Beneath it, an idiomatic Rust codebase creates room for a smaller, safer, and more predictable broker architecture.
The project is intentionally early. Protocol, broker, controller, Raft, storage, security, and transaction crates are being developed in public; it is not yet ready for production use.
Kafka protocol
Meet existing clients where they are and avoid an application migration.
Rust core
Use memory safety and explicit concurrency to build a dependable broker.
Tiered storage
Design object storage into the system instead of adding it around the edges.
Build with us
Early means your input can shape the project.
Read the code, open an issue, or bring the workload you think a modern broker should handle.
